About
About TourLore
TourLore is an AI tour guide and trip planner app that writes a self-guided audio walking tour for any city. It's pre-launch: the iOS and Android apps are in development, and this site collects a waitlist.
Who makes TourLore
TourLore is operated by Luis Otávio Martins from Sorocaba, Brazil. It was founded in 2026.

How TourLore writes a tour
Every tour is written for the person who asks for it, in six steps:
- Setup. A short, all-tap setup records what you like and how you want the guide to work with you. Pace, walking, and budget can be tuned later in your preferences.
- Planning chat. You say where you're going and for how long. The guide looks up real places and suggests stops; you add the ones you want.
- Route. TourLore orders the stops into a walkable route, fitted to your time, and adds each stop's hours, ticket info, best time to visit, and time to spend there.
- Narration. It writes a script for each stop, tuned to your interests, and turns it into audio in your language and your chosen narrator's voice.
- Offline. Save the tour, and the audio, the route map, and the stop notes go onto your phone.
- Learning. Your ratings, your swaps, and the stops you actually walk to shape the next tour.
Where the information comes from
Places, opening hours, and ticket hints come from Google Places and OpenStreetMap. History and context come from Wikidata and Wikipedia, plus what the AI model already knows about the place.
Because TourLore doesn't depend on a hand-curated catalog, it can cover any city from day one. The trade-offs: data is thinner in small places, opening hours can be out of date, and AI can get facts wrong. Stops near closing time carry a “verify before you go” hint, and you can report a mistake through Contact support in the app.
What TourLore doesn't do
- It doesn't book flights, hotels, restaurants, or tickets. When a stop has an official booking page, TourLore links to it.
- It doesn't give turn-by-turn directions. “Go There” opens Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Citymapper with the stop filled in.
- It doesn't sell a catalog of pre-written tours. Each tour is written when you ask for it.
